Dropbox not running on El Capitan

Dear all,

I'm experiencing a very frustrating problem with Dropbox: Can't get it running with El Capitan. I uninstalled Dropbox MANY times, even clearing all Library folders etc. (following this article) - nothing. Whenever I download the latest version of Dropbox, it installs, but then won't start.

Console always logs below error:

Could not connect to Dropbox on port com.getdropbox.dropbox.garcon.cafe_502. Trying again later.

I'm not using any Firewall. Anyone has an idea what else I can do? I waisted hours on this already and it's still not working... :-(

Contacted (German) Dropbox support already and asked them to call me. No call, nor an answer. Great service, really.

Tried to search this forum - crab. Search results are (randomly?) sorted, not according to date. I don't wanna dig through dozens of results, most of them 1-2 years old. Why can't I sort according to date, so I can check topics of the last few months only?

They won't unless you are a Business customer. 

You can try tracking your tickets, however, at http://dropbox.zendesk.com

Why can't I sort according to date, so I can check topics of the last few months only?

Because ZenDesk forum software is rubbish :(
