Commenting disabled on Chrome browser, but enabled on phone app

Level 2

I'm using dropbox for work, and am working with shared folders that I have permissions to add and edit. On the desktop browser version of dropbox my comment button is greyed out and I can't press it, however on my phone app I am able to do so. any insight would be appreciated!

Re: Commenting disabled on Chrome browser, but enabled on phone app

Hi Megan, could you try switching browsers to see if this helps?
Otherwise, use incognito/private browsing mode without any extensions running, clearing your cache and even resetting your browser entirely.
Regarding the mobile app, could you forward a screenshot of you trying to add a comment to this same file?
Thanks in advance!
