I'm getting an error saying I'm out of space on my account

Level 2

When trying to upload a picture I get an error message stating that I can't upload the file because I am out of space.  The folders (2) that I have are empty.  How can I correct this problem?

As a first step, could you please check how much space you have available, as well as how much space is being used up by regular/shared content in your account by navigating to the Plan tab? If you see that you have enough space for the files in question, could it be that the content you’re trying to upload is too large?

I have just purchased 1TB and Iv'e got the same problem. Currently I use 9 GBT and the file I want to upload is 17 GBT so there should be plenty of space...

Do you have enough hard drive space? 

If so could you post a screen shot of www.dropbox.com/account ?
