Hello

I get this error when trying to move dropbox folder from C to 😧 "some files can't be moved, please select a new location or close some open files and try again".

Tried this advice, didn't worked: https://www.dropboxforum.com/t5/Error-messages/Unable-to-move-the-Dropbox-folder-as-some-files-can-t...

Hello guys!

I'm having a lot of trouble with my Dropbox account since yesterday (with my personal account).

Something changed with my Work Account, I don't manage that one... a studio with whom I worked once is the admin. They got me out, they added me again.. and now nothing syncs.

I uninstalled Dropbox and installed again. But now I can't specify the folder.. Like a lot of people I use my Dropbox Folder on another Hard Drive..

When I try to move, it says some files are in use, error, etc.. sometimes even Dropbox crashes and quits.

Please Help.. I'm in the middle of some projects and can't sync.. it's TOTAL CAOS for me.

Thanks @Walter! This little trick did the job 🙂

So, I just needed to click on the Advanced Settings!! I never ever saw it..

I recommend making this more obvious for future releases..

Anyways.. My bad!! Thanks for the quick reply..

BACK TO WORK! LOL

Thanks for the update and sorry to hear that @faculabo

I guess you've rebooted your computer already so can you please check if this is caused by an antivirus, firewall or even a proxy/VPN setting on your computer?

If that's not the case, please let me know.
