Cannot copy a tif image from my Dropbox to my computer.

New member | Level 2

A photo editor sent me my images as tif files. All but one appeared as icons that I had to download to my computer and open in Photoshop in order to view and save in jpeg format. The one I cannot copy and save appears as a photo with no options for copying. Neither of us knows why.

Dropboxer
Hi there, @LindaPeterson57

Initially, please remember that, in general, Dropbox doesn’t alter your files, which means that the way the files are added into an account, they are synced across to other connected devices.

For this reason, I’d recommend ensuring with the sender how they uploaded the files and checking the file type of the uploads and if the .jpeg file was as such instead of a .tiff file.

Let me know of any updates!
