Cannot download a file

New member | Level 2

A file has been shared with me but I am unable to download it. I get an error message to say 'The archive is either unknown format or damaged'

It's a .001 file

I will help you with this download. ⬇️

First let's check if this is a browser issue. You can try the following: 

  1. Use a different browser like Safari, Mozilla Firefox, or Chrome.
  2. Clear your browser's cache.
  3. Try the Incognito Mode / Private Browsing mode of the same browser. 
  4. Restore your browser to its default settings and disable any browser plugins. The issue you're experiencing may be the result of a security setting or a plugin that you have installed on your browser.

If the error comes back after all these steps, please post a screenshot of this error.
