Deleting myself off a folder I own

New member | Level 2

I need to remove myself from a folder I "own" as I created the folder and then added members to it. I'd be happy to give the ownership to someone else so I can be removed but I don't know how to do this. I have the free version of Dropbox if that makes a difference. Thanks all!

Dropboxer
Hey there @kmhennager,

You can transfer your ownership of the folder to another member with the steps outlined here. Then you can remove the shared folder from your account (either temporarily or permanently), which you can find more info about here.

Let me know if you have any other questions - Thanks!
