Deleting unwanted files

New member | Level 2

Another user has added a large number of photos to my account. I want to delete them after saving those I want to keep. If I delete them will they be deleted from everyone else's account? I don't want to do that to the others, but I also need to free up space in my Dropbox.

Hi there @RodB2, I'd be more than happy to help!

If you have editing permissions inthe shared folder, you can delete photos from it, but they will be removed for everyone else as well.

What you can do is, if you save the photos you want somewhere else and you don't need the shared folder anymore, you can remove it following the steps from here

Let me know if you have any other questions!
