Dropbox Comments Missing

Explorer | Level 3

The Dropbox Comments that I left are not showing up in the documents.  When I try to Restore a previous version (in hopes that they are there) it does not give me a Restore Button.   

Please help . . .

Have you saved over the file? If so you lose the comments I'm afraid.

And in terms of the previous versions that would only be available if the previous edit was within 30 days. If the edit is older than that it wont be recoverable.

Colleague added comments to a paper we are working on, but when I downloaded the file all he comments were gone. I can see them in a sidebar in the online version, but I want to continue editing the paper. When I tried sharing something with her, the same thing happened. I really need to be able to see those TrackChanges comments so we have gone back to email.
