Dropbox automatically changing photo exposure?

New member | Level 2

When i upload a photo through smart sync for my editor thats very under-exposed, dropbox automatically brightens it, causing it to be very noisy. Any ideas for a fix? If i drag and drop directly to the website it doesnt have any issues.

Hello Jeff; welcome to the Community!

I'll be happy to look into this; I'll just need a bit more information first so please let me know the following:

1. Where exactly are you spotting this discrepancy? Are you on the website, on the mobile app or on a computer and previewing your files directly through your Dropbox folder?

2. Does this happen for all files or specific ones?

3. Could you send me two screenshots, one of how it looks like on our website and one of how it looks like when you open it natively on your device(s)?

Thanks so much @JeffD2

Thanks for your swift response Jeff - I appreciate it.

Would you mind if I reached out via your Dropbox associated email address to have a further look into this with all of our tools at my disposal?
