In several years of Dropbox use I never had this problem before.
I can navigate through a folder hierarchy and see the folders at every level. But when I click on a folder containing files, the filenames display for an instant and then disappear.
Tried this on several folders - same result.
Tried logging out of Dropbox and back in - same result.
Mac OS 10.12.6
I thought I replied, but based on the display maybe it didn't register. Here is a second try.
Thanks for those suggestions. Here are the results:
Some of the folders in the hierarchy of interest will display their files. But others, including the one that generated the query, will not.
There is nothing personal in the attached screen shots. I'm using Dropbox to manage grants my classmates and I give to students at the high school from which we graduated.
Attachment "Approved.jpeg" shows the folders for each of the grants approved this school year.
Attachment "006 Wetlands Institute.jpeg" should show the files for that grant. The listing of files loads, but just for a second or two. Then it disappears.
Attachment "008 Mosaic Magazine.jpeg" shows what a file listing should look like.
However, when I went to capture that screen shot, sometimes the file listing displayed; sometimes it did not. More generally, it seems that as soon as I move the mouse the display disappears.
Yes - a good idea to bring in a specialist. Thanks for suggesting. Certainly, Dropbox can use my email address in my Community profile.
No - I had not opened a ticket as I thought I would try the Community first.
