How can I change the order of headers within a Paper doc once I've created them? Please tell me that I don't have to start again from scratch!

Hey @Rebelux_Jen, you could easily select the Header text & once you hover your mouse slightly you’ll be presented with the Settings ribbon; you should be able to adjust it there. Please let me know if you have any additional questions or you need further assistance in any way & I’ll make sure to touch base with you asap. Thanks!

That gives me options such as "add a comment" or "create to-do", but I want to change the order. I made several headers and want to drag them into a different order. For instance a header named "reference docs" is below the "templates" header, but I want the reference docs to be at the top instead.

Thanks for circling back to me here @Rebelux_Jen; let me further clarify matters & we’ll take it from there!

It was my initial understanding that by “changing order”, you wanted to switch between H1→H2, H2→H3 &c. Despite not being exactly what you were looking for, you should be able to see this on the left side of the bulleted list icon, as below:

However, based on your last comment, it looks like you’d like to re-arrange the text, which be done either by using the copy & paste/cut & paste options you get when you right-click on a file or utilize the Ctrl+C & Ctrl+V/ Ctrl+X & Ctrl+V shortcuts on your keyboard. If you’ve connected your Headers with links to another section of your doc, this will be updated as well. (Tip: You should also be able to locate all the Dropbox Paper shortcuts on the ⌨️ you see on the bottom-right corner on your browsing window.)

I hope that this is a bit more helpful to you & please do let me know if I've misunderstood your inquiry or you have any follow-up questions. Thanks again Jen!
