Since I have Dropbox Plus, the upload of my photos and vidéos are always and automaticaly directed to my dropbox files - I have no choice to change : I DO NOT WANT THIS !
I want to upload my photos and videos wherever I want : Dropbox should not decide for me.
I therefore wanted to doawnload the desktop app, in order to change my preferences - but I am unable to realise this doaanload and I do not know why.
But doanwloading the desktop app is not the issue - the issue is to be abble to decide myself where I upload my files out of my phone.
Thanks in advance for providing me a solution.
Hi Antoine, you can disable the automatic camera uploads using the steps here.
It has the steps for both the mobile and desktop app.
Hope this info helps!

Hi @Antoine_BXL,
In addition: You can't manage this from other device or from web (this is device setting, not account).
Hope this helps.
Hello,
Thanks for your reply.
I was able to change the desktop app, but not the one on my phone. It's a Windows one, and the the menu icon of Dropbox does not allow to get to 'camera upload'.
Therefore, it does not work.
Any idea I may acces to the settings of the 'camera upload' on my Windows phone ?
Again, thanks for your help.
Antoine.
Thanks.
It's therefore an issue since I can't change the settingson my Windows phone
Antoine.
Settings entry is usually the last one in the menu. Could be invisible initially. Did you try scroll to the menu end?
If you tap the three lines in the top left, then the gear icon, you should see camera uploads on the right.
If not, could you forward a screenshot showing your settings page (while hiding any personal details) in the Dropbox mobile app?

Here is the screenshot:
As you can see (in French):
- no option for ‘Camera upload’ in the settings of the Dropbox app on my Windows Mobile
- and none of these options (account, security, …) propose the setting of the ‘Camera upload’
I am lost
Antoine
On your screenshot are options groups, not final options. Try a recursive lookup in the groups.
Thanks again.
You're right.
Here are the print screen behind thoses option groups - none of them proposes to set the 'Camera Upload'
