How to remove myself from shared folder?

New member | Level 2

Hi there! My Dropbox is full, and I'm trying to remove myself from a folder that's been shared with me. I've followed all the steps documented to remove the folder, but I can't find the option to remove access for myself.

When I click "Share," it gives me this message:

How can I get myself out of this folder?

Hi @eljarhead2017, thanks for reaching out to us.

From your screenshot, I can see that you're trying to remove yourself from a subfolder of a shared folder.

If you don't want to be a member of the shared folder and it's contents, you'll have to find which folder in the hierarchy above is shared first before removing your access
