How will I be able to read my file if it says this

New member | Level 2

Excel cannot open the file '1????.xlsx' because the file format or file extension is not valid. Verify that the file has not been corrupted and that the file extension matches the format of the file.

Re: How will I be able to read my file if it says this

Hey there @plantlife3,
From what I could find it appears that the error message is from Excel rather than Dropbox. However to have a look further into this with you, can you let me know if you are trying to access this file via the web with our Microsoft Online integration, or via your desktop with your own installed Microsoft Office software?
If you are working from your desktop, would you mind trying the steps listed here to see if this helps with the error message you are seeing.
Any extra info you can provide will be helpful - Cheers!
