I get an error when trying to copy a Dropbox link to share within an email. Any ideas?

When I try to copy Dropbox link to share in an email, i receive an error message "Dropbox couldn't complete your request".  How do i resolve this?

Hey there @coxfor - sorry to hear about this.

At first, can you clarify if you're using the website to do this or the desktop application (meaning your computer's Dropbox Folder)? 

If the former one, can you try clearing your browser's cache, an incognito window and/or another browser completely, merely to exclude browser specific issues? 

If the latter one, can you restart your computer and let me know if the matter at hand persists? In case it does, can you forward me a screenshot of the error you get so I can have a better look into this?
