I received a 404 error?

Explorer | Level 4

Received an ERROR 404... gave the option to sign in but I was already signed in.  I signed out completely closed Dropbox and then signed back in and I stopped receiving the message.

I was using Chrome, the oddity was that I was logged in and viewing Dropbox on one page, but when I went to open a new file it brought up that error message with a list of Option centered at the bottom of the page which included Home, etc... Login, etc..  I thought it was strange that I was already logged in, but it wasn't recognizing it on this error page. Maybe it was just a Browser/OS issue, but it looked to me like a Dropbox page.

Sounds to me like a fluff up with Chrome - especially as a log in / out fixed it and nobody else is reporting any issues.

As @Mark mentioned, it seems that this was just a temporary issue, though you may reference this resource should you encounter something similar in the future. 
 
As a first troubleshooting step, please keep in mind that you could always check whether you’re seeing the same behavior on an incognito window. This will usually help you narrow down the possible causes.
