I've missed the payment for my Dropbox Business account. Will I lose any files until I re-upgrade?

New member | Level 2

The credit card I had on file expired and my business account was not paid/renewed. Therefore, I am currently unable to retreive all of my files. When I renew my business subscription will that data be made available again? I have a ton of graphic design files that I can't currently access. I want to confirm that I didn't lose them permanently. Thank you.

Re: Lost files / renew subscription

Hey @tvasile1, your files should remain on your Dropbox account intact & you can still access them, despite the failed payment. That said, if you exceed the maximum amount of storage space for your new plan, your files will stop syncing to your devices and you won’t be able to add content, unless you re-upgrade anew.
I hope my post puts your worries to rest & I’m always here if you have any follow-up questions. Thanks for posting us on our Community on the matter!
