Re: If I upgrade my account, can I lose file because of Dropbox?

Welcome to the Dropbox Community @OMATSA!

If files are ever accidentally deleted from your account, then you can restore those files back to your account, as long as they were deleted within your version history window

However, just to clarify, Dropbox won't delete files from your account without any input from you (or those with access to the files like in shared folders). I'd suggest even checking out this thread here where Jay explains how files can be deleted.

I'd be more than happy to answer any further questions you have about this if you were perhaps thinking about something more specific.

Let me know if this helps - thanks!
