Is it possible to see who downloaded files from a shared folder?

New member | Level 2

I just have a question about my Dropbox folder. A user downloaded all our files and makes it public in another hosting platform so... I was wondering if you guys have the tools to see the downloads in our Dropbox Files. The issue was from January to March and that folder only a few people have access to it.. so maybe we can figure it out.

Hey there @lehnsherr - welcome to our Community!

I'm sorry to be the bad news bearer here but there isn't such a log for files that were downloaded from a shared folder as all members of the folder are able to view, download and edit (even delete) any files from within th... in question.

Maybe your events page could help in finding more information about what happened so please take a look there too.

I hope this helps!
