Is there a way to limit sync iterations or set a file to sync at a certain time?

New member | Level 2

I have a 168mb file that I update and close multiple times a day.  Sync is eating through my bandwidth.  Is there a way to set a file to only sync once a day at a given time?

Re: Limit Sync Iterations

Hey @terry200, welcome to the Dropbox Community!
There isn’t currently a way to schedule syncing within the app settings. However, if you’re working on this file on a daily basis, you could save it elsewhere on your pc temporarily & place it in the Dropbox folder once you’ve finished editing.
You can also disable Dropbox from launching automatically on startup if you’d like to save bandwidth &/or adjust your Sync speed through Preferences.
Please let me know how my tips work for you when you have some spare time. Thanks!
