Just want to resync everything, this option doesn't exist anywhere

Hello, so in  my new job I stumbled upon the nightmare called Dropbox. After installing/deleting/re-installing multiple times it still isn't working properly. Problem is that the desktop app thinks everything is synced but the directories in  my comp are completely empty. Simple solution would be a button in the settings with "resync everything" but somehow the developers didnt think of it. So... besides re-installing (which I did several times) and unlinking and re-linking my account (which I also did several times), what other options I have to FORCE the desktop app to re-sync all my files from the cloud to my computer? Thx in advance. O, and before asking, the app thinks that everything is ok, no sync error messages, no red x'ses, nothing.

Hi @damo999. I'm sorry to hear you're having issues with our desktop app; let's have a look into this.

Just to make sure we're on the right track, could you send me two screenshots?

One of the desktop app's exact status as shown in your computer's system tray/menu bar and one from the files/folders within your Dropbox Folder (merely to check their syncing icons). 

Also, as you mentioned that you already re-installed the app on the affected machine, did you, by any chance give a clean, advanced re-install a go? This might do the trick for you. 

Another thing to note here is that this could be due to an incompatible character within a files/folder's name. For more info see here:
