Multiple Dropbox Accounts

I have a Dropbox account through my employer and a personal account.  I can access the files I need by logging into each account, but when I try to save files, I'm only given the option to save in my person account.  Do I need a business account to solve this?

Hi there @Laura_Cook, could you elaborate a bit on this so as to have a better understanding? For example:
  • How are you editing and saving these files? Through the website, the desktop app, or the mobile app?
  • Does this occur with specific files or any file that you try to save?
  • Where are the files originally placed in - your work (Business) account or your personal (Basic/Plus/Professional) one?
Any additional details on this would be very helpful. Thanks in advance!

Hi @Laura_Cook, yes you need a business account to access/sync multiple dropbox accounts to a single device. If you don't have a Dropbox Business account, the only way to access a second Dropbox account is by signing in to the other account on the dropbox.com website or the mobile app. Or you can share files between multiple accounts by creating shared folders.
