My files in drop box just disappeared and not receiving new shared request

I had a shared file with multiple uploads and it just vanished.  Now, when I am emailed that I have been sent the shared file request, I am not accessing it on drop box.  Really frustrated....

Need to receive shared file.

Also, is there any way to retrieve the shared file that vanished.

As a first step, can you try doing a quick search in your Dropbox account for the folder you created for the file request files to be held within. If you’re receiving a notification that files are still being uploaded then perhaps the folder has been moved to another location.
If you can’t locate the folder this way, can you check your Deleted Files page and if you see the folder there, you can select it and restore the folder to your account. Otherwise, please check your Events page to find the event that caused the disappearance of this folder in some more detail.
