New desktop app: Google docs/sheets/slides importing

New member | Level 2

I'm testing the new desktop app on a business account. The "dream" is to consolidate my company's use of both Google Drive and Dropbox, and the new DB app seems like the solution. My only issue is, it doesn't seem like I can import GSuite files into the new app, I can only create new Google documents. Is there a way to import them?

Hey @darry1, although there isn’t currently a direct option or method to import already existing docs in such a way, I’d be more than happy to pass your idea along to the dev team for consideration.

Thanks for your reply Lusii. Hopefully it will come about one day, as I'd imagine this being a lynch-pin for many organisations.
