View, download, and export

Hi,
I've uploaded to CMYK files to my dropbox so that clients can download them and use them in print catalogues etc. However, in the preview the colour looks nothing like the colour in the file. If I download and open it, it is the correct colour. How can I make it so the preview matches? I don't want to confuse my customers.
Thank you
Hi, thanks for replying. If it's only the preview then that's not too much of an issue for me. But yes, please feel free to email.
Thanks for the swift response Christina; you've got mail
As promised, I followed up with an email so as to look into this further.
Whenever you get the chance, please check your inbox for my message and we'll pick this up from there.

I am also having this same problem. I have been using Dropbox for years and it displayed fine. It's been just recently in the past few months that this problem with CMYK images in wrong colors started to happen. RGB images and PDF files display fine. I tested on Safari, Chrome and Firefox and it's the same problem, so it's definitely not the browsers. Image is attached for your reference:
Please note that in my photo I typed in "RGB", but it supposed to be "CMYK". My file is CMYK.
Thanks for the report and details @tk_OG!
May I reach out via the email address you use for your Community's profile so we can look further into the matter at hand?

Hi, I've been having the same issue with this for years, actually...
Dropbox can't ready CMYK files in the preview, but it can view RGB colors correctly. My clients are always asking me about this and I'm getting tired of having to explain it to them that when they download it, it's fine, and the CMYK is for the printers...
It would be nice if Dropbox could update and provide a fix for this!
Thank you!!
