Restoring deleted files

Explorer | Level 4
Hi all, About 3000 of my files were deleted today through some sort of a syncing error. I can see them under 'Deleted Files' on my Dropbox online, but when I try to restore them, the Dropbox webpage keeps crashing. How can I contact Dropbox to get them to restore these files? I tried using the 'Send us an email' link, but that link refuses to load. Thanks, N

Welcome to the Dropbox Community, rest assured that I'll do my best to help you with your missing files. 

 

To my mind, the best course of action at the moment is to try accessing the website in incognito or private browsing mode to see if this helps you restore these files there. If you are still unable to load the Dropbox website (hence you can neither restore your files or write in to support), please keep in mind that you could submit a ticket here, that would end up on our official support channel as well. 

 

Please let me know how you'd like to proceed with that! Otherwise, I'd be more that glad to follow-up on your ticket ID.

Thanks very much for such a quick response!  I managed to find the LiveChat feature (which would load, unlike the email feature), and have submitted a ticket to restore the files.  Fingers crossed that this is resolved quickly!

Thanks so much for such a quick response!  The LiveChat feature worked for me, and I used the link you provided to figure out how to send the Event Links to Dropbox Support.  I've got a ticket, and am  hoping that this batch restoration happens quickly.
