Retrieving Old Folders and Files

New member | Level 2

I registered for dropbox in 2016 or so, and stop using it for a while somewhere in April last year. My subscription expired and went back I could not access my old folders and files. They are all gone.

Hi @Slygabianu

Sorry to hear you are having trouble finding your files.

Since the account was not inactive over a year, your files should be showing in the account. Your Dropbox account cannot delete your files.

Have you checked your events page

Have you checked your deleted files page?

I suggest to contact our restorations team directly, here. We cannot help with restoring via the Community because we cannot see your account or any event logs, for privacy reasons. See No Evil

I hope this helps and you find your files soon.
