Saving files on my computer and drop box-receive an error message

I need some help saving files to both my hard drive and my drop box.  

For my work I have to save my files on to my computer and also save them in my dropbox folder.  EVERYTIME I do this I get this CAUTION message:

"Remove "e445e7f-12a5-46e1-9cbd-621bcbc20eb.tmp" from your Dropbox account and all devices?

If you move this file to Happy Prints (or where ever I am saving it to) it won't be available in Dropbox or on any devices

--Don't ask me again.   

Cancel (which removes the file)   or Move out of Dropbox (I am not sure what this option accomplishes)"

That is the whole messge I receive.  My comments are in quotation marks.  

I find this incredibly frustrating.  I would like to save my files both places and not be asked every time or have my files removed.  If I click the "Don't ask me again" box, it keeps asking me. 

Is someone able to tell me how I can simply save my files to both my hard drive and my drop box file?

Hey @rosamond, I’d happily advise & help clarify matters! 
 
From what I gather from your description, it looks like you’re moving these files to your desktop & that’s why you’re getting this message. Is it a drag & drop that’s triggering that?
 
As you mentioned that you’d like to store a copy, you could right-click on the file/files you’d like to store locally & copy those anywhere outside Dropbox to keep in both locations.
