Hello everyone,

I'd like to setup a permanently open file request so that I can share a link with my clients that they can upload files to.

It seems to me that users can only upload files using file requests - but cannot see the files that they uploaded, which is great for me, because I don't want my clients to see *each others'* files.

Is there any way for a file request recipient to see the content of the file request folder and access all the files in it? If the recipient does have a Dropbox account and was logged in when they uploaded files to the request - does that somehow give them access to the folder itself?

Hey there @idokalir - thanks for using our File Requests feature!

As you know, this feature enables you to request files from multiple users and have those files accumulate in one singular folder in your Dropbox account. For Dropbox Business and Dropbox Professional customers, you will also have the option to add deadlines for submissions.

As per your inquiry now, note that even if they have a Dropbox account when submitting their files to your open file request, they won't get access to the folder itself.

This can only happen if you choose to explicitly share the folder that you have your file requests routed into. In that case, I'd suggest using a shared link to the folder in question to grant others (anyone you'll be providing with the shared link) view-only rights - if needed that is.
