Smart SYNC option is set to online but instead it goes to hard drive

Hi Guys,

I am really having a trouble with v76.1.126 upon installing the app i have set it up to online only as i have done in the past but for some reason it goes to my hard drive, i have tried to uninstal and in stall back but keeps happening....Clearly there is something wrong, and keep getting this message "please reinstall dropbox to fix all your syncing icons"... any help would be really appreciated!

Can you check the version number? That doesnt sound like a public facing one.

Can you also try a reinstall with Admin rights

Hi mark,

Version V76.4.126 downolad from website...it is really doing my head inn! i ahve installed it as an admisintrator but keeps downlaoding it to my C drive...I really need help Please

Could you also confirm if you’ve had a look at this Help Center article which mentions some steps and ideas on tackling missing syncing icons?
