Some files I access from my Files app try to open in Dropbox?

Level 3

I am trying to acess files on an iPad via iOS "Files" but whenever I try to open certain files, they want to open in Dropbox rather than in Word as it has in the past. I just upgraded to the latest iOS (it did it before the upgrade as well) so I'm not sure why it's doing this.

Re: iOS Files and Dropbox

Hey @Larry T., could you please provide me with some additional info on this? For example:
  • Are the files in question all Word documents?
  • What are the exact steps you follow that result in this behavior?
  • Could you also send me a screenshot (omitting personal info) of the prompt that you see that asks you to open them in Dropbox?
Thanks in advance!
