Hi ... I have just created a second dropbox account for personal use (the other one is a business account). How do I get the files in the newer account to sync on my laptop? Although I have uploaded some files to a folder in the new account via the Dropbox website, they are not showing up at the moment on my laptop. Can anyone help with this one? Thanks .... Rod

Hey there Rod - how are you today?
From what I understand you'd like to connect your personal account to your business one.
To connect your personal and work Dropbox please follow these steps:
You'll be asked if you already have a personal Dropbox account. If you do, please sign in to your account or if you don't, you'll be given the option to create a personal account.
If needed, follow the instructions to download the Dropbox desktop application and start using both your personal and work accounts on your computer.

Another question though - what happens when I leave by business account for good. Do I still retain laptop access to my personal Dropbox account?
Yes of course you do @Rod2019 - the account that's handled by your team's admin is your work one (that's part of the team) not your personal one whatsoever so in that case only your business account would be unlinked from the desktop app on your computer(s).

No, it's not, at least not under the same computer user account. You can install the second Dropbox under a separate computer user, but you can't sync two Business or two Personal accounts under the same computer user account.
