Syncing from Web site to DropBox folder

I made a change to  a file I have in Dropbox but I changed the file on the website especting it to sync back with my file on my PC but this does not happen. I have no problem syncing from PC to Web but not the other way around. Is this normal?

Can you make sure that your desktop app is running and showing 'Up to date'

More information

You can always look at the Dropbox icon in your taskbar (Windows) or menu bar (Mac) and see if it is done syncing. When Dropbox is fully synced then you should see a tick followed by the words “Up to date” on the menu.

If you do not see this then can you please let me know what the message being displayed reads?

If you made sure you're fully synced, please forward me a screenshot of the file you see on our website and another one of the location you'd expect it to show as well in your Dropbox Folder on your computer.

While we're at it, can you check this file's version history to see if any changes are logged? Does the edit you mentioned show up in your events page at https://www.dropbox.com/events

If it's not too much to ask, can you reproduce this behavior on another browser or an incognito window with no extensions or plugins running (to exclude browser specific issues)?

Any additional information will be much appreciated. Thanks!

It appears that the problem was user error! I had inadvertently ended up with two Dropbox folders on my PC when I reinstalled Windows. I was looking at the old location and Dropbox was happily working with the new location. Thanks for your help.
