Trying to open a shared file results in an error 500, any help?

The company I work for recently updated our dropbox to a business account. My boss has tried to share multiple files with me with no success. Every time I click on the invitation to view the file, I get an error 500. Please help!

Hey there @Veronica7,
 
Could you please try using another browser to see if the issue persists there too? Also, please try using an incognito/private window to rule out any browser extensions that may be having an affect on the behaviour.
 
As a last step, if you see no improvement with the above steps, please try clearing your browser’s cache and trying again to open the link to the file.
