We keep getting an error when accessing shared video

I have tried having my collaborator share large video and audio files from her dropbox account to mine: it occasionally works, but increasingly it just shows up as a 404 Error when I clink on these links, no matter how soon after she sends them I look.


We've since created a Dropbox business account where we can upload files into a shared dropbox account, and I STILL cannot access them! 404 Error shows up, even when I am simply looking at files uploading by a collaborator on a dropbox business account.


Is it a browser issue? Is it a file issue? It works about 30% of the time...but I get errors more and more these days. It doesn't matter if she shares them from one dropbox account to another or if we now upload onto a shared business account: error 404. Help please.

Could be a few things

First thing to check is that the files have actually uploaded before you send the links (it needs a green tick on it if you are using the computer).

Second thing is how you are sending said links. If its via email make sure its not removing bits or adding bits if it goes across multiple lines.

I send my collaborator a music file created on garageband into our shared drobox account. He will then download that file I've sent into his garageband and add to it. And it sounds fine on his end. But when I receive the finished piece of music it sounds warbly and just completely off. Any solutions?
