All of the share links you posted (the first three are valid) work just fine, so there's no problem with the links themselves. If the link with ?raw=1 does not work within the application, then you'll need to contact Magento Support. My guess is that the application doesn't accept URLs that don't end in a recognizable file extension (.JPG, .PNG, etc.). If that's the case, images from a share link will not work for you. There are no other solutions from Dropbox for such a case.

You need to provide more information about how you're trying to access the files before anyone will know how best to help you.

More info would be helpful!

If the app is using the Dropbox API to access and import the files directly from there, then this would be an issue with the Magento 2 app itself, and not Dropbox. However, let us know more about how the app is getting files from Dropbox.

Additionally, your email was removed from the post, for your own security and privacy, as we do not request this in a public forum. Please could you avoid this in future!

Keep us posted!

Hi Team,

I am trying to extract(download) image from drop box image links through our magento 2 application.

Example i tried to use from this below list of urls:
https://cedcommerce.com/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/m/a/mas...
http://yaminisowri.in/images/training.jpg
https://www.mageplaza.com/media/vendors/bsscommerce.png

i can access the first 3 urls not the drop box url below one:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/ccbn8mpglugfusg/karvy-product-image_1.png?dl=0

May i know the issue either we need to buy plan or can you provide any permission from your side.

Thanks
Yamini

Thanks for the details. You won't be able to extract the image using that link.

However, if you change the dl=0 to raw=1, the image itself will be displayed. Perhaps your Magento program can work with that?

This is forcing the file to render online, of which more details can be found here.

Hope this helps!

If the Magento program can't access the raw=1 link and parse it as the original PNG, then it won't be able to extract the image from Dropbox directly.

There isn't any workaround for this, since the raw=1 is the only way for images and files in general to be directly viewed in a browser.

Perhaps you can contact the developers of Magento to see if they have a workaround of their own?

[edit] submitted this after Rich did his own reply, but I'll leave it as it is.
