Dropbox App Not Working

The dropbox app was working for a long time then all of a sudden it stopped syncing and it crashed. When I restarted it, it gets stuck on connecting, but not working. When I try to uninstall it it gets stuck at a point and it says uninstall failed. Windows says I have dropbox 16. something, but dropbox says it is 17.3.32, which was a beta, which I didn't sign up for. Please help.
