Gmail attachments - "Save to Dropbox" button active area is too big

Level 2

I am copying a previous post which describes the problem it seems a lot of users are unhappy about, including myself.

When dealing with attachments in Gmail, the "Save to Dropbox" button clickable active area is to big and bleeds in to the "Download" icon. I keep opening the Dropbox dialog when I intend to just download the file due to this.

Anyone else experiencing this? Can Dropbox address this?

Hi Kristie, which device are you experiencing this on? Are you referring to the site or the mobile Gmail app?

Thanks in advance!

That isn’t a URL, but a link to a local file on your machine, namely an HTML file.

We’re not experiencing this issue on our browser here, we can still click the download button with the Dropbox icon on the right of it.

Could you try switching browsers to see if this helps? Otherwise, use incognito/private browsing mode without any extensions running, clearing your cache and even resetting your browser entirely.

Let me know how it goes!
