I have installed Dropbox on my Mac, and it shows up in the Applications but not as a folder. How do I get it to be a folder so I can use it on my Mac without having to go to the internet version?
The folder should appear inside the Users folder - have you looked there?

I have no users folder. And when I click on the Dropbox icon in my Applications folder/list it does not open
Clicking on the application within your App folder wont open a folder as it isnt supposed to. All it does is launch the application and put its icon on the status bar at the top.
If you click on that and then the folder icon on the right hand side you should get your Dropbox icon.
