Connecting a Computer to Account/Linking to Mobile

I have three email addresses and three accounts.  Trying to get them straightened out.  Finally have my mobile connected to correct account.  Trying to now get my mobile and computer linked.  I already have the Dropbox icon on my computer and it is connected to a different account.  Have read the Connecting to Computer instructions but it is not working.  Any ideas?

Initially, if you have a work (Business) account and a personal (Basic/Plus/Professional) account, you can connect them by following the instructions here. Once you do that, you can then follow the steps outlined in this link to connect them on a computer or a mobile device
 
If both of the accounts are personal accounts, currently, there isn’t an option to connect them, although it's also possible to use a different Dropbox account for each user login on your computer. You can find more info about this in this article
 
Finally, if you’re not sure which subscription your account is on, you can check by navigating to your Plan tab
