Desktop App MAC OSX 10.13.6 Not Starting

Explorer | Level 3

Dropbox user for years.  Currently running 86.4.146 which I just downloaded.

I have a Dropbox Icon in apps folder, but noting appears to happen when I double clickar ext does not have selection for running desktop app

Ideas?

One more thing - 

Also no dropbox icon for access from toolbar of finder windows.

Hey there @BillBerner, thanks for checking in with us!

As a first step, could you try restarting your computer? Maybe that will do the trick. 

If not, could you let me know what happens when you click on the option Try the new desktop app that's in your Preferences' General tab?

Let me know what you find!

Thanks for getting back to me and sorry for the misunderstanding, @BillBerner

I meant to click on the last option I can see in your screenshot which says Try the new Dropbox desktop app. 

Let me know what happens!
