Dropbox desktop app causes TrustedInstaller process to chew up memory

I am running Windows7 - both Win7 Pro and Win7 Home. I am wondering if anyone else is having this problem? I have opened a support ticket, but so far have not received any helpful suggestions.

When the desktop app is started (either automatically on startup or manually) the Windows TrustedInstaller process begins to chew up memory - usually ending at over 500,000K.

Although the first thought that came to mind was to check out this article that gives more info about what would cause high CPU or RAM usage, I’m not quite sure how relevant it would be to you since you mention that a third party app starts to show high usage, instead. 
In any case, I’d recommend taking this discussion to email due to account-specific details that would be needed so as to further investigate.
