How to reduce file size for scanned documents

I need to scan receipt for my business expense and the scanned filed in both png and pdf exceed 400KB. Is there a way to reduce this file size, ideally < 100KB. Or is there a setting to reduce the image size on my phone?

Hey @trangvann - thanks for posting your question here and welcome to our Community.

You can now adjust your document's size and quality using the new "save quality" slider bar on iOS mobile devices. To do this, follow the steps below:

On iOS mobile devices:
1. From the Edit screen, tap the icon with the three sliders at the bottom of the screen.
2. Edit the area of your scanned document by moving the blue dots on each corner of the scan.
3. Under Filter, decide what format you want the scan in.
4. If desired, use the slider to adjust the contrast (this option is only available for the Black & White and Whiteboard filters).

5. Use the "Save Quality" slider to adjust the quality/size of the document
5. When you're satisfied with your edits, tap Done.

Let me know if you need anything else!

What version of the app are you using, and on what platform?

I'm using a beta version on iOS, and on the screen where you name the file and select PNG or PDF, there's an image quality slider with three settings from Low Quality/Small File Size to High Quality/Large File Size.

Hello I am using version 90.2.2 on iOS 11.2.6. I don't see that option while saving. I only see option for file type PNG/PDG

It's likely a feature in testing and not yet available outside of the beta.
