I keep getting error messages with the Dropbox Beta

Level 2

First of all, let me say I really love Dropbox.

I was offered the opportunity to try out the Dropbox Beta on my Mac maybe a couple of months ago so I installed it.  And I don't like it. I don't like how much screen space it takes up with folders, i.e., the double line spacing look.  I don't like the 2 sidebars.  And since I installed it, I seem to frequently get a lot of "program not responding" and have to force quit whatever I'm trying to open.

Is there a way to delete the Beta version without deleting my original Dropbox installation?

Re: Dropbox Beta

Hi @JPPhil,

It's normal for beta release to have something which need to be 'polish'. This is in fact test version. Classical way to turn back to 'stable release' is at the beginning to ensure that '' switch in general personal account settings is turned off. After that You can download and instal latest stable version. You don't have to remove the data, if that's what You was afraid of.

Good luck!

Hi @JPPhil

If you go to this page here you can find the official thread for the build you are using and add comments to that page. Its much more likely to be seen by developers that way.
