I actualy tired about bad dropbox mac desctop app performance...

Yesterday app stuck on syncing 386 files for all day..

Today app stuck on 1 file and overload my CPU!!!!!!!

And this is not first time.. A have big amount of files in my account, about 300gb and more than 200000 files.. and I don't want to resync all my files agan.. Last time it took me more than 3 days...
And this CPU usage.. it's not normal!!!!

App version: v68.4.102
Macbook Pro 15" i7, 16gb ram, Mojove latest version..

If you not fix this issus, i will cancel my subscription and migrate to google drive..

I can't work this anymore!!!

Hi Kaspars, could you try checking out this article for possible reasons why the CPU usage rises when syncing files?

Generally, symlinks is the primary reason, so I’d recommend checking step 7 first.

Let me know what you find out!

Are you able to navigate your folder structure to see where these files are located? Are they all in one folder, or scattered randomly in your folder structure?

Are the files being accessed by another program or virus scanner? Could you try quitting all open applications to see if this helps to let the files sync?

Are you not able to see the sync icons on your files in the Dropbox folder?

If so, could you try the steps here to bring them back? This will help you determine which files are not syncing fully.

Okay, do any of them have the blue syncing icons? Are you able to navigate through the folders to see those files? Are they in a specific folder, or randomly in your account?
