One shared folder is not downloaded to one of the users

Level 2

Hello dear friends. We are 3 dropbox users, each one with their own email account, using the free Dropbox service.

We are sharing 2 folders. Let's call them FOLDER-A and FOLDER-B. The user that owns both folders has shared them with the two other users. The owner has istalled dropbox for Mac and both folders are synced with his Macbook.

The next user has installed Dropbox in his Windows 10 laptop and both folders are synced.

The third user has also has installed Dropbox in his Windows 10 laptop BUT only FOLDER-B is syncing with the desktop application. FOLDER-A is available in his online Dropbox account, can use the dropbox web to upload new files in it, it is shown correctly as shared but does not download.

So far the third user has tried uninstalling and reistalling the desktop app, has tried removing himself from the shared FOLDER-A and re-accepting new invite and so on.

Nevertheless FOLDER-A still just refuses to sync-download to his laptop.

Is there anyway to find out (probably logs or something) what is actually wrong with the syncing or share any idea of what might be going wrong?

Sincerely

Super User II

Can you ask them to check www.dropbox.com/bad_files_check @fvassis ?

Thank you so much. There was a dot (.) at the end of folders name. Wondering though why it synced for other users
