I am using v72.4.126 on a pc win 7 pro

Any idea why?

Collaboration is difficult as we created a lot of conflicted files

Hey @dimitrisp, sorry to hear about any inconvenience caused; let’s go through some initial checks & we’ll proceed based on your findings; I hope you’ve had a great Monday so far! 
 
For starters, if you suspect that something isn’t working as expected, you could unlink & relink once & see if that amends the discrepancy. As you’ve mentioned that you’re facing this issue with desktop Notifications, can you please clarify if this has affected the pop-up Notifications or the Notifications area while clicking on the Dropbox desktop tray icon
 
From there, you can have a look at this resource for some hints on the possible ways conflicted files are created, however to my mind it would be best to cure the root cause, so I’d like to follow-up on what has led you to this error.  I’d appreciate it if you could elaborate a bit on how this appeared on you end, in order to further advise.  
 
Last but not least, I’m wondering if you’re using the Dropbox badge to collaborate with your colleagues; please let me know if you do.
