Take back my files from Dropbox

Hi

So dropbox stopped syncing and we have tried everything - time to give up. I now want to take back my files which are still in Dropbox and still available....how.

I do not want the link to the file...I want the actual file back again.

Hey there (@Luapert), sorry to hear that Dropbox isn’t working for you as expected at the moment. I ran a quick search on my end & I could see that we had a brief discussion about the syncing issue you were experiencing back in January. Are you still facing the same behavior on your end? 
 
If so, I’d really like to follow-up from where we had left off & help you get to the bottom of this discrepancy as soon as possible, as I understand that you’ve already tried working on that on your own without getting to the desired outcome. 
 
From there, to answer your question, kindly note that you should be able to download the contents of an entire Dropbox folder via dropbox.com, as long as it’s less than 20 GB in total size & it contains less than 10,000 total files. In other words, you can download all your account contents & store them wherever you wish on your desktop/laptop using our website if you’re facing a syncing issue & you’re not able to properly sync them to your desktop.
