"Please reinstall Dropbox to enable Smart Sync!" notification

Hello,
in my notifications area when I click on the dropbox icon in the system tray, it keeps saying "Please reinstall Dropbox to enable Smart Sync!" - so I reinstall via the link in that message (& also tried via the button in Preferences where it has the same message), and have tried rebooting, but it always has the same message. I recently upgraded from free version which I have had for number of years (largely for this feature).

Hey there @Dave27 - sorry to hear about this.

As re-installing our software didn't help, I'd suggest a clean, advanced re-install as per the following Help Center article:

Hi @Dave27,

Sometimes just unlink and relink your application from/to your account can do the trick. Old subscription information sometimes is cached and need refresh, one thing that the relinking do. Try at least... winking face
